Happy Anniversary!

February 25, 2018 marks the second anniversary of Matte is the New Black. What a gigantic leap I took from being hardly ever discovered to sort of being recognized and receiving lifting and motivating words in plenty from those who showed love.

This is a tough journey. I ought to be honest that a lot of times I have thought of giving up. But whenever I was on the verge of breaking down, miracles would happen. Life savers would appear in my life and encourage me to continue pursuing my dream.

I am truly in awe of the milestones that MITNB has reached and the growth of myself. Thank you to every one of you, family and friends in particular (You know who you are!), who loves me unconditionally and supports me through difficult times. I love y’all to the moon and back!
